Why choose Sharron

ABOUT SHARRON

Sharron’s family immigrated to Australia from Europe in the late 1960s. She spent her formative years in Lockhart River, a remote Aboriginal Mission Station at the tip of Cape York in North Queensland. Her father worked for the Australian Government, building homes for Australia’s First Nations communities.

These early experiences of community life and cultural connection sparked Sharron’s enduring curiosity about human relationships, belonging, and the ties that bring us together. This led her to university studies in sociology, human behaviour and therapy work. She is affectionately referred to as “Dr Love” by her university colleagues.

Today, Sharron lives in Bayside, Melbourne.  Outside of her work, she enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family. Most of all, she enjoys being by the sea. Her favourite travel destination is southern Spain in the springtime or the autumn, in a seaside town called Malaga where she finds inspiration, enjoys Spanish cuisine, and a sense of peace. Her dream is to one day retire there.
